Phnom Penh: The Cambodian Rice Federation announced that in the first 2 months of 2026, Cambodia exported a total of 247,822 tons of rice to international markets, earning more than 142.87 million US dollars.
According to the report from the Cambodian Rice Federation, it was confirmed that “in the first 2 months of 2026, Cambodia exported 247,822 tons of rice through 55 rice exporting companies to 51 destinations.”
Among these, 28 countries in the European region received 64,134 tons of rice, valued at 46.22 million US dollars; China and Hong Kong received 51,384 tons, valued at 36.31 million US dollars; 5 ASEAN countries received 112,142 tons, valued at 41.89 million US dollars; and 16 other destination countries including Africa, the Middle East, America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc., received 20,162 tons, valued at 18.45 million US dollars.
Regarding the types of rice exported, fragrant rice accounted for 59.16%, long-grain rice 0.06%, broken rice 1.18%, organic rice 0.74%, all types of broken rice 27.68%, and other types of rice 11.18%.
Cambodia also exported 873,880 tons of paddy rice, estimated to be worth approximately 196.62 million US dollars.
