Preah Vihear: Officials from the Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC) presented to delegates from 12 countries about the types of unexploded ordnance and used munitions, totaling 1,223 items, found in the vicinity of the Preah Vihear Temple. These were munitions used by the Thai military during their attacks on the Preah Vihear Temple.

According to a press release, Ms. Major General Mali Sochata, spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense of Cambodia, informed the public and national and international media that on Thursday, March 5, 2026, the Ministry of National Defense of Cambodia coordinated with foreign military attaché delegations stationed in Cambodia to conduct a thorough inspection of unexploded ordnance left from Thai military attacks on Cambodia in 2025, as well as the status of the ceasefire implementation between Cambodia and Thailand, which has been in effect since December 27, 2025, in the Preah Vihear provincial area.

It is further clarified that the clearance activities of war remnants by CMAC are carried out according to the guidelines of the Royal Government and are considered a priority task to ensure the safety of the population.
