Phnom Penh: On March 9, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister Sar Sokha, Minister of the Interior, presided over the ceremony to award diplomas to outstanding students of the 13th Bachelor of Police Science class, totaling 207 students including 64 females, and the 1st Advanced Police Diploma class, totaling 100 students including 30 females, making a total of 307 students with 94 females at the Royal Cambodian Police Academy.

Deputy Prime Minister Sar Sokha emphasized that recognizing the important role and duties of the national police force for the country, the Royal Government of Cambodia, under the wise leadership of Samdech Maha Vajiralongkorn Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has implemented development policies and enhanced professional capabilities for all types of armed forces.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed strong pride and praise for the development and progress of the Royal Cambodian Police Academy, the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship National Police School, and the six regional national police schools in terms of infrastructure, both hard and soft aspects, equipment, materials, and quality improvements to meet specific requirements and standards in human resource training for the forces. He also expressed gratitude to benefactors who have contributed to the development of the academy. The Ministry of the Interior continues to support, assist, and prioritize training efforts to build human resources for the forces to ensure continuity from one generation to the next.

The Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged that under the spirit of reform, modern vision, creativity, and high innovation, the Royal Cambodian Police Academy has continuously produced new achievements and progress, not only meeting the demands for high-quality and standard training but also enhancing competitive capabilities regionally and internationally. These achievements form the foundation for building a national police force that is highly professional, honest, dedicated to serving the people, and loyal to the nation.
