Phnom Penh: Mr. Keo Remy, head of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee, regarded the Thai military’s reaction in the media surrounding the alleged third war plan against the Khmer as psychological warfare, merely throwing a stone into a pond just to see the ripples.

Through a post on the social network Facebook, Mr. Keo Remy affirmed that Thailand has no plan to wage a third war against Cambodia, and he has asserted this from the very beginning, even before Thailand’s national elections, that there is no third wave. This time, there still isn’t.

Mr. Keo Remy clarified, “What the Thai military is reacting to in the Thai media today is merely a probe, wanting to see Cambodia’s reaction only. This is psychological warfare, just throwing a stone into a pond to see the ripples.”
