Phnom Penh: The National Assembly will convene to discuss and approve the draft law on combating fraud through technological systems and the draft law on the election of members of the Senate on March 30, 2026.
This approval plan was made on the occasion of Samdech Khuon Sodary, President of the National Assembly, who on the morning of March 26, 2026, presided over a meeting of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee to discuss and approve certain agenda items.
As a result, the meeting approved March 30, 2026, in the morning as the date to continue the 5th session of the 7th legislature of the National Assembly, with two agenda items: discussion and approval of the draft law on combating fraud through technological systems and discussion and approval of the draft law on the amendment of the law on the election of members of the Senate.
At the same time, the National Assembly’s Standing Committee also approved the draft resolution on the roles and responsibilities of various committees of the National Assembly.
