Phnom Penh: The draft law on combating fraud through technological systems was unanimously approved by the National Assembly of Cambodia on the morning of March 30, 2026, with a vote of 112 out of 112 members present.
The draft law on combating fraud through technological systems consists of 5 chapters and 24 articles. It is prepared based on key foundations, including national laws and international laws, especially the United Nations conventions on combating transnational crimes, which have designated organizations, and the United Nations conventions on combating technological crimes, as well as the laws of several countries, to ensure high effectiveness in implementation in accordance with international standards.
