Minister of National Defense Welcomes Two Russian Warships Docking in Cambodia with Approximately 262 Sailors

Preah Sihanouk: On April 7, 2026, General Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense, welcomed two Russian warships (the Sovershenny No. 333 and the Rezky No. 343) from the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy, which docked at the autonomous port of Preah Sihanouk city to conduct a 3-day visit in Cambodia with a total of approximately 262 sailors.

This visit by the Russian Navy and warships will enhance the relationship and cooperation in the national defense sector between Cambodia and Russia, a principle that both countries have consistently upheld throughout their history of relations.

General Tea Seiha also firmly hopes that Russia will continue to support and work closely with the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces to strengthen and expand our military cooperation further, especially in human resource training and joint military exercises in the future.
