Phnom Penh: On the morning of Wednesday, April 8, 2026 Dr. Kao Thach, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Chief Executive Officer of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB), presided over the 1st Committee Meeting of the Cambodia Climate Finance Facility (CCFF). The meeting was attended by representatives from the Korea Development Bank (KDB), Mekong Strategic Capital (MSC), and the CCFF Working Group.
The objectives of the meeting included: (1) reviewing the implementation progress of the CCFF program; (2) previewing the upcoming green loan pipeline; (3) reviewing the loan disbursement plan; and (4) outlining the next steps moving forward.
During the meeting, Dr. Kao Thach also provided strategic guidance to the CCFF Working Group to further credit assessment practices, particularly in relation to mechanisms and standards for carbon emission calculations, as well as to ensure careful consideration of marginalised groups, with the aim of promoting inclusive and sustainable financing.
