On April 15, the China Media Group (CMG) Film Culture Event was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China. The event focused on the “Film+” economy, covering many fields, including film industry exploration, exhibition of works, intangible cultural heritage, and cultural tourism experiences, allowing the world to understand Chinese civilization through Chinese films. The survey was jointly conducted by CMG’s CGTN and Renmin University of China. 12,000 interviewees in 41 countries showed that Chinese films have become an important window for the world to understand China, and China’s cultural soft power has been increasingly recognized and loved by foreign audiences through Chinese films. 70.6% of interviewees said that Chinese civilization has provided new ideas for global governance.
