Phnom Penh: On April 12-19, 2026, following the recommendations of Deputy Prime Minister Sar Sokha, Minister of the Ministry of Interior, and the leadership of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Sok Veasna, Director-General of Immigration, instructed the Department of Investigation and Enforcement to continue deporting a total of 1,175 foreigners, 167 of whom were women.

The foreigners, who belong to 28 nationalities, include: Rwanda, Cameroon, Myanmar, Nepal, Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka, China, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Indonesia, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya, Pakistan, Macedonia, Ghana, Philippines, Lebanon, Korea, Malaysia, England, Poland, China, Taiwan, Kyrgyzstan, and Canada. They were deported from Cambodia.
Among them, 327 Chinese nationals involved in online scams were deported at the Techo International Airport Police Station, and 226 Vietnamese nationals involved in online scams were deported at the Chakri International Border Police Station, and several other foreigners involved in cases of illegal immigration, forging fake documents, and staying without a passport. Kidnapping, extortion, using fake visas (fake QR Codes), online fraud, illegal work and other criminal offenses in the Kingdom of Cambodia were deported through the police station at the gate of Techo International Airport.
Please note that the deportation of the above foreigners is a strict implementation of the legal measures of His Excellency Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and the strong guidance of His Excellency Dr. Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Interior, in efforts to clean up and eliminate all cybercrimes that occur in the Kingdom of Cambodia to ensure the safety of citizens both in the region and around the world, without exception, especially for the masterminds behind it, as well as to rescue victims who were deceived by the masterminds to work in any cybercrime and are free and able to return to their countries.
