Phnom Penh: At the first meeting of the “2+2” strategic dialogue mechanism between the foreign ministers and defense ministers of Cambodia and China in Phnom Penh, the Chinese side expressed support for the Cambodian military in participating in promoting military cooperation and military modernization that will strengthen national defense in the sea, land, and airspace. In that, Tea Seiha also expressed strong confidence that the presence of Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Admiral DONG Jun, Minister of National Defense of the People’s Republic of China, will promote high-level strategic communication, deepen political trust, and develop bilateral relations as comprehensive strategic partners and iron friends, and strive to build a Cambodia-China community of shared future in all seasons in the new era.
Mr. Tea Seiha stated that Cambodia is committed to continuing to strengthen and expand cooperation between the two countries in all fields to further deepen it by unswervingly adhering to the one-China principle.
