Phnom Penh: Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia expressed his deep gratitude to the Chinese friends who have always paid the utmost attention to the care, treatment and warm hospitality of His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Her Majesty the Queen Mother of the Khmer Nation.
The gratitude was expressed during a courtesy call and working discussion between Prime Minister Hun Sen of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Defense Minister Dong Jun of the People’s Republic of China on the afternoon of April 22, 2026 at the Peace Palace.
Please note that His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and His Majesty the Queen Mother, King of the Khmer Nation, are both staying in the People’s Republic of China to maintain their health after successfully undergoing surgery for prostate cancer.
