The construction of the Thankor-Clay Bridge project has achieved 47.6% progress, 2.60% faster than planned.

Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Public Works and Transport said that the construction of the clay-Thankor bridge project has achieved 47.6% progress, 2.60% faster than the plan as of April 22, 2026.

Through Facebook on April 23, Mr. Phon Rim emphasized that “I would like to inform the media and the public that as of April 22, 2026, the construction of the Clay-Thankor Bridge project has achieved 47.6% progress, 2.60% faster than the plan.”

The Clay-Thankor Bridge construction site opened together with the Phnom Penh-Bavet Expressway project on the 7th June 2023, under the high chairmanship of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, former Prime Minister and current President of the Senate, and Mr. Wang Wentian, former Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia.

The Dei Khrit-Thma Kor Bridge is located on the west side of Dei Khrit Commune Kien Svay and Treay East districts are in Thma Kor commune, Lvea Em district, Kandal province. 

Please note that this is an important project for connecting the economy and transportation from the south and east of Phnom Penh by connecting Xi Jinping Boulevard (City Ring Road 3) at National Road No. 1 And the east side connects to the Phnom Penh-Bavet expressway.
