Phnom Penh: Samdech Thibault Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, highlighted that the government’s policy in developing the energy sector has so far achieved 62% clean energy use.
On the occasion of allowing Mr. Kęstutis Budrys, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, paid a courtesy call on the morning of April 24, 2026. Samdech Techo Hun Sen highlighted the priorities and policies of the Royal Government in developing the energy sector, which to date has achieved 62% clean energy use and aims to increase it to 70% by 2030.
The King further stated that the Royal Government has put in place many policies, support mechanisms, and efforts to promote the development of the energy sector with strong momentum and sustainability. In this regard, the President highlighted that Cambodia and Lithuania have great potential for in-depth cooperation in the energy sector.
