Phnom Penh: Mr. Khuong Sreng, the Governor of Phnom Penh, has instructed the forces under the Phnom Penh Unified Administrative Command to continue to make further efforts, while the leadership praised the excellent performance of the past work in maintaining security, creating happiness for the citizens, and environmental sanitation.
This instruction from Mr. Khuong Sreng, head of the Phnom Penh Unified Command, was made during a meeting on the progress of work to suppress online scams on the afternoon of April 24, 2026, at Phnom Penh City Hall.
During this meeting, Mr. Khuong Sreng He said that the appreciation from the leadership, especially Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Sar Sokha, Minister of the Ministry of Interior, shows the dedication and hard work of our officials and forces, as Prime Minister Hun Sen said, “Civil servants are servants of the people.”
In addition, the Governor stated that we have indeed performed our work well, practically for “Sangkranti New Year” National Tradition, Year of the Monkey, 2569 B.E., 2026 CE in Phnom Penh, in the past, both in maintaining security, creating happiness for citizens and environmental sanitation work, we have performed well and received praise from the leadership. And for the implementation of the work of cleaning up online scams, we have also received praise from the leadership, so we must continue to make more efforts.
