Northeast: The four provinces in the northeast of Cambodia have more than 4,000 job opportunities available to former workers returning from Thailand and job seekers. This is according to the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, which was recently announced.

The announcement from the Ministry of Labor said that as of April 24, 2026, the provinces in the northeastern region, including Kratie, Stung Treng, Ratanakiri, and Mondulkiri, had a total of 1,000 job opportunities. 4,218 places are waiting for former workers returning from Thailand and those looking for work in agriculture, industry and the service sector.

According to the Ministry of Labor, to access these job opportunities, former workers returning from Thailand and those looking for work can search for contact numbers and factory names and the sector they are interested in through the ministry’s job brochures that have been published in detail.
In addition to direct contact with companies, enterprises, and factories, all job seekers, especially former workers, can also contact the emergency contact system 1297 so that the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training can help coordinate their job search.
