Siem Reap: On the morning of May 22, 2026, 24 sets of sports equipment donated by the China Foundation for Rural Development through the Civil Society Alliance Forum were delivered to 6 primary schools in Banteay Srei district, Siem Reap province, to promote sports activities, exercise and health care for local students.

The handover ceremony took place in a friendly atmosphere and was full of smiles from students, teachers, local authorities, and representatives of Chinese friends. What made the program even more lively was that immediately after receiving the gifts, the students unpacked the sports equipment and immediately played with it on the school campus, showing their excitement and joy for the gifts that could help increase their daily sports activities.

At the same time, the “Badminton for Health” program was also organized immediately after the gift-giving ceremony, with active participation From students and representatives of relevant parties. Mr. Rin Lot, Governor of Banteay Srei District, was honored to play badminton with Chinese representatives in a warm atmosphere of solidarity and friendship.

He emphasized that human resource development cannot only focus on classroom learning, but also consider students’ mental health and extracurricular activities.
