Ahead of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic’s state visit to China, a Chinese documentary film festival was held in Belgrade, Serbia on May 20 local time. Shen Haixiong, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Planning of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Director General of China Media Group (CMG), delivered a speech in a written format.
Shen Haixiong said that under the strategic leadership of the two heads of state, the building of a community of shared future between China and Serbia has been continuously strengthened and expanded, the friendship between the two peoples has become stronger, and people-to-people exchanges have been continuously invigorated. China and Serbia have launched the China Documentary Film Exhibition, a concrete measure to implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state, which has opened a new chapter in promoting people-to-people exchanges and people-to-people exchanges. China Central Television is willing to enhance cooperation with Serbian media and friends from all walks of life, showcase the vitality of development and the attraction of Chinese and Serbian civilizations through the global media network of CMG, so as to further strengthen the friendship between China and Serbia and contribute to building a China-Serbia community with a shared future in the new era.
