The doctor added that after the election, the young people who were elected would become the commune leaders of Khsach Kandal district, as this district began voting first among all districts and cities in Kandal province.
The doctor emphasized that the election to elect the youth leaders of the Cambodian People’s Party in Vihear Sour commune is a collection of experiences and an expression of the opinions of each young person in accordance with democracy.
He emphasized that in addition, the organization of today’s election is not done without the rules and regulations. Even the inclusion of members of the Cambodian People’s Party’s central party committee has the same electoral arrangements, with the election involving voters from the grassroots (district governor level). So there is nothing strange.
The doctor added that today’s election is important for young people and those who are elected must serve the young people and citizens in their communes well and inspire other young people who are not in the Cambodian People’s Party to join the party.
However, regarding the election to select the youth leaders of the Cambodian People’s Party in Vihear Sur commune, Dr. Banthi does not want to see it turn into a division among the youth of the Cambodian People’s Party in the commune, because history has shown that when we are divided, we become weaker.
Finally, Dr. Banthi advised the young people who were elected as the youth leaders of the Cambodian People’s Party in Vihear Sur commune to help their commune and participate in all party activities, especially to spread the word about the dangers of drug use in the commune, because he does not want to see any youth of any party imprisoned for drugs.
