Phnom Penh: Lieutenant General Rath Sreang expressed his gratitude to the public for always supporting the operations of the Phnom Penh Military Police, especially the use of safety equipment.

Through his official page, Lieutenant General Rath Sreang mentioned the proverb that prisons and locks are where thieves are born, and good medicine is born after diseases.

Lieutenant General Rath Sreang emphasized that since taking office as Commander of the Phnom Penh Military Police in 2013, he has had some challenging experiences that inspired him to initiate the creation of safety equipment for catching criminals, along with the use of nets to catch drug dealers, stubborn criminals with knives, sticks, axes in their hands, as well as large and strong criminals in order to maintain the safety of both the authorities and the criminals. And those around him who had never thought of or imagined this idea or device when he was the commander of the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Military Police.

He claimed that when the safety device was first introduced, some people laughed, but many people supported it. However, when we put it into practice in practice, we saw that this innovative idea was really effective and safe, achieving successful results according to the original idea we wanted. We also developed these devices over time and provided the techniques for use as well as the safety devices to other authorities.

Lieutenant General Rath Sreang said that he was grateful for all the words of encouragement and energy that you have given us, making us fulfill our duties, moving forward constantly and not giving up on any obstacles.
