Kampong Chhnang: Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the acting head of state of Cambodia, mentioned the project to build a road and bridge connecting Kampong Chhnang and Kampong Thom provinces and asked the Chinese friends to consider the project.
Speaking by Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State of Cambodia, on the occasion of a meeting with 966 provincial, city, district, commune, and sangkat councilors and leaders of departments and organizations around Kampong Chhnang province on May 27, 2026. The ceremony was held at Kampong Chhnang Provincial Hall.
Samdech Techo said that connecting transportation networks between provinces around Tonle Sap Lake, both by water and land, is very important for improving the livelihood of citizens.
Samdech Techo also mentioned the National Road No. 50C project, which is a road connecting Kampong Chhnang and Kampong Thom provinces. Because this one-lane road project was announced by Samdech Techo during his tenure as Prime Minister, and up to now, this project has not been implemented yet.
