Police raid two warehouses in Sen Sok District, find frozen meat originating from 10 countries

Phnom Penh: Sen Sok District Administration, in cooperation with the General Department of Consumer Protection and Competition (GDCPC), the Sen Sok District Customs and Excise Office, and the Phnom Penh Department of Agriculture, on June 14, 2026, inspected two warehouses in Sangkat Kok Khlang and Sangkat Khmuenh and found frozen meat products with customs declarations legally imported from 10 countries.

The two locations are as follows:

1- Michael’s frozen meat business located in Kok Khlang Village, Kok Khlang Sangkat, was found to have frozen meat products with customs declarations, legally imported, originating from two countries: China and Vietnam.

2- The warehouse and distribution location of Phnom Penh Cold War Co., Ltd. is located at Lot No. 322, Concrete Road, Khmuong Village, Khmuong Sangkat. Frozen meat products with customs declarations were found, imported legally, originating from 10 countries: China, Vietnam, New Zealand, Brazil, Australia, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, India, and South Korea, as well as products from local companies.

After actual inspection, it was found that the above two locations did not have any frozen meat products imported from Thailand.
