Mr. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, together with Mr. Nuon Pharath, Governor of Kampong Thom Province, on July 5, 2026, presided over a cycling event from Kampong Thom Province to Sambor Prei Kuk Temple and an obstacle course event under the theme “The Road to the Pre-Angkor Capital of Isan Puro Chenla” to celebrate the 9th anniversary of the inclusion of Sambor Prei Kuk Temple in the World Heritage List (July 8, 2017 – July 8, 2026) and to promote the cultural, heritage, and natural tourism destination and encourage tourist growth in line with the implementation of the Visit Cambodia in the Green Season campaign.
