BELTEI International University organizes the 9th BELTEI International Cooperation Conference (BICC) and 3rd Research Forum 2026 education fair with 40 partner universities from 17 countries around the world

Phnom Penh: BELTEI International University organized the 9th BICC-Education Fair 2026 on July 6-7, 2026 on the theme of “The Scholarship Opportunities and Preparation for Overseas Study Life” and the 3rd Research Forum on the theme of “Digital Transformation in Education” under the chairmanship of Dr. Ly Chheng, People’s Representative of Phnom Penh Constituency, Founder-CEO of BELTEI Group and Chairman of the Board of Directors of BELTEI International University, and was attended by representatives of 40 partner ministries, institutions and universities from 17 countries around the world (Cambodia, Australia, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Switzerland, the United States, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Poland, South Korea, Vietnam, China, the Philippines, Burma and Indonesia), as well as BELTEI students and guardians. A total of over 5,000 people.

Mr. Ly Navut, Rector of BELTEI International University, said that the education fair and research forum was established with the aim of strengthening cooperation and research with overseas partner universities that have signed a memorandum of understanding. (MoU) to contribute to improving the quality of education in Cambodia, focusing on key points including:
– Promoting Cambodia’s culture, educational and economic development, as well as other sectors, to the world
– Increasing and strengthening cooperation and partnerships with private and public educational institutions both at home and abroad
– Promoting famous partner institutions in various countries to Cambodian students, especially BELTEI students
– Creating a communication platform for all participating institutions to encourage and increase the number of Cambodian students studying abroad
– Promoting scholarship opportunities for BELTEI students as well as students nationwide to continue their studies abroad

-Exchange ideas, discoveries, and understanding among researchers and serve as a platform for researchers to make presentations, share experiences, and research achievements from national and international speakers to promote research.
-Contribute to the development of human capital in Cambodia with the Royal Government, headed by the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports.

The Rector also informed that, with an agreement with MONASH University, Australia, in early October 2026, the university will start offering Foundation Year classes at BELTEI Group Headquarters (5th floor), with students studying for one year at MONASH–BELTEI IU Cambodia and can continue studying for another three years at MONASH University, Australia.
Professor Dr. Yan Suhong, Director of the Academic Office of the University of Information Technology and Management from Poland, representing the delegation from abroad, expressed his joy and appreciation for the organization of this international conference, saying that BICC is a platform that provides an opportunity for his university, as well as universities from around the world, to meet directly with Cambodian students to share academic information and opportunities to receive various scholarships, especially to learn about Cambodian culture, civilization, and the rapid development of Cambodia.

According to the interest of Kang Sunhour, a former student of BELTEI International School, through participating in the BICC education fair, he also received the Oknha Ly Cheng scholarship to study at the East Asia Institute of Management in Singapore.

On that occasion, Dr. Ly Cheng briefed the conference on Cambodia’s peace, political stability, and progress in all sectors, including education and the economy, especially Cambodia’s prominence on the international stage, under the sound leadership of the 7th Royal Government, led by Samdech Maha Vajiralongkorn President Hun Sen as Prime Minister and many other leaders, who are continuing to lead the nation towards achieving the vision of Cambodia’s development as an upper-middle-income country by 2030 and a high-income country by 2050.
The doctor emphasized the value of peace, especially the Royal Government of Cambodia’s commitment to resolving border disputes with neighboring countries peacefully, in accordance with international law and existing bilateral agreements, and adhering to its principled position that border lines should not be changed by force.

The professor also thanked the 40 academic institutions for taking the time to attend this important conference and for presenting and sharing their academic information with Cambodian students.
The professor added that the BICC conference will greatly contribute to increasing Cambodia’s capable human capital in the digital era, in line with the government’s five-pronged strategy, which has identified five key priority sectors: people, roads, water, electricity, and technology.

Finally, the professor also encouraged all partner universities to continue to participate in the 10th BICC Conference and the 4th Research Forum in 2027 to jointly strengthen the quality of education at both the national and international levels, especially to continue to strengthen good cooperation with each other for better results.
