Phnom Penh: On July 29, 2026, the Phnom Penh Military Police presented the faces of four suspects involved in two different drug cases after being arrested in succession. Three suspects were charged to court and one suspect was sent to a drug rehabilitation center.

The seized items included: 4 packets of crystal methamphetamine, 1 bottle for smoking drugs, and some other items. The three suspects are: 1. Keo Sothea, 40 years old, 2. Meng Thavori, 30 years old, 3. Vy Davin, 21 years old. 

*Case 2: Through the emergency hotline 1291 of the Phnom Penh Military Police at 07:45 on July 28, 2026, a citizen complained that a man named Ly Vina, 28 years old, was in a drugged state, acting in a disorderly manner and causing domestic violence at Sak Sampov Village, Sak Sampov Sangkat, Dangkor District, Phnom Penh. Immediately after receiving the above complaint, the Phnom Penh Military Police in Dangkor District immediately arrived at the scene to intervene and arrest the perpetrator and send him to the Kandal Steung District Drug Rehabilitation Center.
