Minister Dit Tina Encourages Reflection on Gender Equality with Detailed Evaluation

Phnom Penh: Mr. Dit Tina, Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, has encouraged reflection on gender equality by conducting detailed evaluations and understanding the hardships faced by women in all aspects.

At the ceremony celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8, the 115th anniversary in 2026, under the theme “Peace and Security for Women and Families” held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries on March 9, 2026, Minister Dit Tina expressed congratulations and joy for holding this event as a remembrance and encouragement to all women who play an important role in contributing to national social development.

Additionally, the Minister emphasized that peace and security both globally and regionally are essential matters that require protection and maintenance to foster development and prosperity.

The Minister encouraged reflection on gender equality with detailed evaluation, understanding the hardships faced in all directions, providing job opportunities, granting priority rights to capable women who have the potential to fully perform their work, take responsibility, and participate alongside men for progress in the agricultural sector and national society, with realism and confidence.
