Kandal: Dr. Kao Thach, Government Delegate in charge as Director General of the Rural Development and Agriculture Bank and Deputy Head of the Government Working Group assisting the grassroots of Khsach Kandal district, on the morning of Thursday, April 2, 2026, presided over the ceremony to award service medals to 237 civil servants and contract officials of Khsach Kandal district administration.

This medal awarding ceremony was held because these civil servants have served for more than 10 years and have never received any previous honors. The event was also attended by Mr. Cheng Dina, Governor of the Khsach Kandal District Council, district council members, directors, deputy district administrators, civil servants, education staff, and contract teachers, totaling 250 participants.

On this occasion, Dr. Kao Thach praised and highly appreciated the active work, time sacrifice, and high responsibility of the civil servants in Khsach Kandal district, who have achieved many accomplishments and results, especially in providing public services, solving challenges for the people, and maintaining security, safety, and social order.

Furthermore, the doctor delegate stated that organizing this medal awarding ceremony today is a testimony to recognizing the great achievements and dedication of civil servants and contract officials who have worked diligently without fear of fatigue, overcoming all obstacles with full physical and mental effort, and making high sacrifices at all times to serve the nation and the people.

Moreover, Dr. Kao Thach added that the sacrifice and commitment of civil servants and contract officials in fulfilling their duties to serve the nation and the people with enthusiasm, mindset, and adherence to professional ethics is a good example for the younger generation, who are currently actively participating in social work, humanitarian work, and environmental work.

The doctor delegate recommended that civil servants must have high sacrifice and commitment by staying close to the people in the community at the grassroots level to monitor, listen to requests, and resolve various challenges for the people fairly. Civil servants must have the will to serve the people, and decisions must be based on three important factors: (1) rational consideration, (2) historical factors, and (3) logistic factors.

Dr. Kao Thach reminded that being a civil servant requires fulfilling one’s roles and duties well, especially serving the people at the grassroots level to ensure safety and social stability. Therefore, continue to strive, strengthen internal unity, and become stronger to serve the people and develop Khsach Kandal district for greater prosperity.
