Phnom Penh: On the morning of April 7, 2026, at the Ministry Secretariat, Mr. Hout Sina, Secretary of State and Chair of the Evaluation and Selection Committee for the “One Enterprise, One Peaceful Community” (O.E.O.P.C.), representing the honorable Minister Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training and Head of the Working Group organizing the evaluation and selection mechanism, presided over the committee meeting for the 2026 selection.

With high appreciation for the participation of tripartite mechanism representatives, the Secretary of State confirmed that this program is one of the ten recommendations of Samdech Maha Bavarothipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, during his past meetings with workers. The launch of the “One Enterprise, One Peaceful Community” competition for 2026 aims to promote harmonious labor relations, foster a culture of labor compliance, and strengthen the effectiveness of dispute resolution mechanisms within enterprises, companies, and factories. It also aims to enhance the implementation of social security regimes and increase labor productivity effectively.

It should be noted that in its second year, 55 enterprises, companies, and factories were evaluated and selected from among 182 applicants competing for 2026. This number has increased compared to 2025, when 36 enterprises, companies, and factories were selected. The evaluation and selection of the winning “One Enterprise, One Peaceful Community” is conducted based on established principles and integrity, relying on eight compliance criteria: compliance with labor conditions, compliance with the employment of young workers, compliance with labor relations, compliance with occupational safety and health conditions, compliance with social security regimes, compliance with the employment of workers with disabilities, compliance with productivity promotion programs, and compliance with social responsibility programs. Enterprises, companies, and factories that pass the evaluation will receive gold, silver, or bronze awards and be exempted from simple labor inspections according to the award level.

In conclusion, the Committee Chair appealed to representatives of workers’ and employers’ professional organizations to help promote and encourage more enterprises, companies, and factories to participate in the competition next year to collectively promote a culture of labor compliance.
