Recently, the 6th China International Consumer Goods Expo and the launching ceremony of the 2026 International Consumer Goods Season “Buy China” were held in Haikou, Hainan Province, China, under the chairmanship of He Lifeng, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Vice Premier of China.
He Lifeng said that under the direct attention and guidance of Chinese President Xi Jinping and the joint efforts of all parties, as the world’s largest consumer goods exhibition and trading platform, the China International Consumer Goods Expo has become a symbol of the construction of Hainan’s free trade port and an important platform for China to share development opportunities with the world.
He Lifeng added that China will firmly implement the strategy of expanding domestic demand, promoting industrial upgrading through technology and innovation, promoting high-quality development and expanding high-level opening-up, as well as continuously unleashing market potential and consumption vitality, to add more certainty and driving force to global economic growth through new development with Chinese characteristics.
