Foreign Affairs: Ukraine is ready to produce strategic drones and unmanned aerial vehicles in cooperation with Germany, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said here on Friday, Xinhua reported today.
Speaking at the ongoing Antalya Diplomatic Forum, Sybiha said Ukraine is trying to replace human forces with drones to reduce casualties on the battlefield in the conflict with Russia.
Sybiha said: “We are trying to replace our soldiers with all types of unmanned aerial vehicles, including drones.” It will save many lives of our soldiers.
He said that Ukraine still has significant potential in the production of drones, as so far the country has used only half of its production capacity.
Meanwhile, the Interfax-Ukraine news agency, citing Sybiha, reported on Friday that Kiev was preparing for a high-level meeting between Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin, also facilitated by Turkey and the United States.
