Through Mr. Rain Ratan, Spokesperson for the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Interior, on the night of April 25, 2026, he informed the family of Lieutenant Colonel Mab Sophat, Deputy Inspector of the Stung Trang District Police Inspectorate, Kampong Cham Province, as well as the public that after receiving information and reports on the case of Lieutenant Colonel Mab Sophat being seriously injured in an operation to suppress a gang case on the night of April 24, 2026, Deputy Prime Minister Sar Sokha is deeply saddened by the death of Lieutenant Colonel Mab Sophat. And please share the pain of the Colonel and the immeasurable sorrow with his family.
