Mondulkiri: With the attention of Mr. Thong Savun, Governor of Mondulkiri Provincial Government, on Saturday morning, April 25, 2026, Ms. Keo Savoeun, Deputy Governor of the Provincial Government, led experts from the Department of Social Affairs, Ex-offenders and Youth Rehabilitation of the province and local authorities to implement procedures for temporarily placing children in foster families and bring some supplies, including milk, diapers, milk bottles, clothes and a budget of 100,000 riels.
Currently, the girl is being placed in temporary care in a foster family in the community according to the procedure (the girl’s mother is receiving treatment at the Center for the Care and Treatment of People with Mental Disorders) with the participation of the Chairman of the City Committee for Social Affairs, the Deputy Mayor of the City, the Office of Social Affairs and Social Welfare of the City, the Mayor of Sokdom Sangkat, Sokdom Sangkat, Romna Sangkat, and the head of Lao Ka Village in Sen Monorom City.
