Phnom Penh: On the afternoon of May 20, 2026, Mr. Leng Se, Secretary of State, High Representative of Mr. Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, led a delegation to pay tribute to Mr. Ey Soda, Deputy Director of the Labor Inspection and Labor Dispute Office of the Pursat Provincial Department of Labor and Vocational Training, who was the husband of Ms. Song Siv Nghim, who passed away on May 19, 2026 at the age of 43 due to a traffic accident while carrying out a work mission in an awareness campaign on preventing the use of child labor in brick factories and agro-industries in Pursat province.
On that sad occasion, the Secretary of State, on behalf of the leadership and civil servants of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, conveyed a message of deep condolences to the family of the deceased for the loss of Mr. Ey Soda, who was a good husband and father, as well as a valuable human resource who sacrificed his strength and body to fulfill his duties for the Ministry in the past.
With deep condolences to Mrs. Song Sivangym and the family of Mr. Leng Se, we also brought the Minister’s body to the ceremony and dedicate it to the soul of Mr. Ey Soda, may he rest in peace.
