Phnom Penh: Mr. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, said that the tourism sector cannot be separated from peace, security, political and social stability.
This was stated by Mr. Huot Hak at the “Malaysia Tourism and Goods Exhibition 2026”.
Mr. Huot Hak said that the tourism sector has also cooperated internationally with friendly countries to promote the exchange of people, investors, travelers and tourists, as well as connecting by air to Cambodia from all parts of the world.
The minister said that this sector is a priority sector and an important pillar of the economy of the Royal Government of Cambodia in promoting economic growth and improving the livelihood of the people in accordance with the first phase of the Five-Point Strategy of the Royal Government of Cambodia.
At the same time, the Minister also highlighted the Visit Cambodia campaign during the green season from May to October 2026, which offers unique tourism experiences, beautiful greenery and a cool atmosphere with many special benefits, in line with the slogan “6 Musts” including: Must See, Must Stay, Must Taste , Must Visit , Must Try and Must Buy.
Please note that the Malaysia Tourism and Commodity Fair 2026 showcases Cambodian-Malaysian relations and actively promotes the promotion of tourism potential and attractive investment opportunities. These events are also expected by the Cambodian and Malaysian sides to make significant contributions to promoting cultural exchanges, people-to-people connections, and strengthening tourism cooperation between Cambodia and Malaysia to be more active, deeper, stronger, and provide maximum benefits to the people of both countries.
