Phnom Penh: Mr. Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, was invited to attend a ministerial luncheon with Ms. Lisa Wright, Deputy Executive Director and Head of Delegation of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on Monday morning, May 25, 2026, at the Zhan Liang Restaurant of the Vattanac Capital Building.
In this convivial atmosphere, His Excellency the Minister thanked ADB for its continued partnership with the Royal Government of Cambodia and highly appreciated its support for Cambodia’s development priorities, particularly in promoting inclusive growth, skills development, private sector development, digital transformation, and economic diversification.
Meanwhile, Mr. Heng Sour highlighted the readiness to strengthen cooperation with ADB on TVET reforms, partnerships with industry, labor market information, green and digital skills, and new education pathway programs in line with the Cambodian Industrial Development Policy 2026-2035, which will be implemented in the future.
Cambodia confirmed its readiness to continue cooperation as a partnership on skills development and support for sustainable and environmentally friendly development.
