Phnom Penh: Mr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, said that for the past 56 years, World Vision has helped millions of Cambodian people and children through direct interventions in remote areas in several key areas.
On the occasion of celebrating the 56th anniversary of World Vision International in Cambodia on the morning of June 1, 2026, Mr. Hang Chuon Naron thanked World Vision for its active support to Cambodia over the past 56 years, helping millions of Cambodian people and children through direct interventions in remote areas in the fields of education, health, rural development and other sectors.
He said that the cooperation and results achieved between the Ministry of Education and World Vision in the past are a reflection of Cambodia’s development from one generation to the next. He hopes that in the future, Cambodia will transform from a country that receives support to a country that is fully capable of providing support and contributing to the international community.
