Phnom Penh: Young Ul Sophearum, an electrical engineering student at the National Technical Training Institute (NTTI), demonstrated his TVET skills in applying modern industrial technology to create the YL-335C Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Integration Application Innovation Platform, a prototype of an automated production line for assembling and inspecting products in factories.

The young man said that the YL-335C is equipped with many innovative technologies, including the use of industrial robots in product assembly, quality control using a smart camera (Vision System), and monitoring of operating conditions through the Internet of Things (IoT) system, which can help manage and analyze data in real time.

Mr. Ul Sophearom stated that the current industrial sector in Cambodia is growing. And there are many production lines at factories producing beer, pure water, and other products. Therefore, studying and practicing on the YL-335C system will help students understand modern production technologies that are in high demand in the job market.

The young man added that The key benefits of this system are to help reduce reliance on human labor, increase accuracy and efficiency in production, and make production processes more convenient and innovative in line with Industry 4.0 trends.

Through the demonstration of YL-335C’s achievements, it also reflects the ability of TVET students to study and apply modern industrial technologies to prepare themselves to be a skilled workforce that can meet the needs of Cambodia’s future industrial and investment needs.
