Phnom Penh: On the evening of Monday, June 15, 2026, Mr. Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, and the ministry’s leaders were invited to visit the exhibition of production chains and products, achievements, modern technical equipment and booths at the 9th National Technical and Vocational Education and Training Day 2026 at the Koh Pich Exhibition and Convention Center after the official opening ceremony under the chairmanship of His Excellency Samdech Maha Vajiralongkorn, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Under the theme “TVET provides skills, jobs and income”, the 9th National Technical and Vocational Education and Training Day this year was also celebrated at TVET institutions in provinces across the country, with exhibitions of achievements, training materials and equipment, training programs, and works of 432 units, equivalent to 585 standards.

Specifically, for the event in Phnom Penh, there were 108 units exhibiting, equivalent to 261 stands and 12 sub-sectors, including 10 famous TVET institutions from China. The day, which begins on June 15-16, 2026, will also feature a program of recognition of prior learning (RPL) assessments, lectures from speakers to share knowledge and experiences about learning, career development, and labor market needs, as well as introducing priority majors and demonstrating the relationship between general education and TVET programs that must complement each other in accordance with the Cambodian National Qualifications Framework.
