The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) is the largest international movement for girls and young women, with membership through National Girl Guides Associations in various countries. WAGGGS currently represents a movement with 153 member associations worldwide.
The World Congress of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts is the supreme forum and highest decision-making body of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), held every three years. The General Assembly brings together leaders and representatives of member organizations from countries and territories around the world to discuss, review and approve key policies, set strategic directions and strengthen international cooperation networks for the development of the Girl Scouts movement and the empowerment of girls and young women.
