Phnom Penh: The National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia (NPIC) of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training won first and second place in the 13th National Robotics Competition 2026, becoming the team representing the Kingdom of Cambodia to participate in the upcoming Asia-Pacific Robotics Competition.

The 13th National Robotics Competition on July 5, 2026, aims to provide a platform to promote the study, research, and creativity of Cambodian students and youth in the field of robotics, as well as to encourage the creation of new innovations in this field to contribute to building capable human resources and promoting the technology sector in Cambodia. .

In addition, the program was held to find a Cambodian champion team to compete in the international event ABU Robocon 2026, which will be held in Hong Kong, China on August 23. As a result of the national finals, the first and second place winners went to the team from the National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia (NPIC). While the third place winner was the team from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC).
