Kyiv: Ukrainian forces launched strikes on 47 Russian military targets overnight into Monday, according to Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine’s unmanned aerial systems forces.
He said the targets included two Russian tankers transporting fuel from Russia’s Taganrog to the Crimean peninsula.
Ukrainian forces also struck a fuel depot, a Nebo-U radar station and two S-400 “Triumph” long-range missile systems in Crimea and Russia’s western Bryansk region.
He added that the “Triumph” missile system was hit during the Russian missile strikes on Ukraine overnight.
The Russian Defense Ministry said its air defense systems shot down 519 Ukrainian drones overnight in 20 regions of Russia, and that the Russian armed forces carried out a large-scale overnight strike on military targets in Kiev and other Ukrainian regions using drones and long-range high-precision weapons.
