During the meeting, Ambassador Chhai Sinarith highlighted the excellent cooperative relationship between Cambodia and the United States and highly appreciated the close and fruitful cooperation between the law enforcement authorities of the two countries in combating cybercrime. At the same time, Ambassador Sinarith shared the experience and results of the campaign to clean up locations and criminal groups in the past. He emphasized that this campaign will continue to be implemented consistently and Cambodia will continue to strictly implement procedures against the masterminds, accomplices, perpetrators, and providers of means, in accordance with applicable laws, to eliminate and prevent the recurrence of this crime. Cambodia welcomes close, honest, trusting and confident cooperation with friendly parties to jointly address these complex and interconnected global issues.

In response to Ms. Aleksandra Zittle  Expressed appreciation and recognition for the efforts, mechanisms, instruments, and results achieved by Cambodia in combating cybercrime, and recognized that this transnational crime is complex and requires close and effective cooperation between relevant countries. She emphasized that the United States Government, as well as the Royal Government of Cambodia, has always considered combating cybercrime an urgent priority. The US side hopes that law enforcement authorities of both countries will be able to find additional opportunities to continue to promote and enhance cooperation on this matter to be more effective and efficient.

Before concluding, Mr. Santibandit informed that Cambodia will host an international conference on combating cybercrime, which is scheduled to take place in late September. 2026 onwards.
