Phnom Penh: On July 19, Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia Ueno Atsushi and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense General Tea Seiha signed and exchanged an exchange of letters on Official Security Assistance (OSA) worth 500 million yen (approximately US$3 million).

According to the Japanese Embassy, the project will provide a means of transmitting messages to the Royal Cambodian Army and patrol boats to the Royal Cambodian Navy.
