The Permanent Secretary stated that this policy will continue to strengthen further progress in promoting human capital development in line with the motto of the Pentagon Strategy Implementation Phase 1 and play a key role in the orientation of transforming the technical and vocational education and training system into an ecosystem of skills training by opening up the doors to the TVET institutions. Creating courses based on digital or artificial intelligence (AI), organizing a program of alternative training with the International Tevet Institute, organizing the recognition of short courses by participating in the promotion of lifelong learning, skills development and skills transfer, and strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors to build a quality, productive and highly competitive workforce.
At the same time, she called on ministries, relevant institutions, the private sector, TIVET institutions, development partners and all relevant parties to provide quality comments and inputs to ensure that this policy is comprehensive, can be implemented effectively and becomes a common national policy for building Cambodian human capital in line with current and future labor market needs.
