Phnom Penh: The Department of Occupational Health of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training organized the 10th training course on “Fundamentals of Occupational Safety and Health” for a total of 40 enterprise doctors and employees in charge of occupational safety and health in enterprises, companies and factories on the afternoon of July 22, 2026 at the Occupational Safety and Health Training Center (OSHTC).

In this important training session, trainers from the Occupational Safety and Health Training Center of the Department of Occupational Medicine presented to the participants about high-risk machinery safety equipment, boiler safety systems, and the use of fire extinguishers, etc.

In addition, the participants observed the effectiveness of using personal protective equipment (PPE), safety belts, helmets, and safety shoes, especially experienced firsthand the use of falls from heights and the use of full body harnesses for high-altitude work safety, and practiced CPR, which plays an important role in rescuing workers and promoting occupational safety and health. The training also connected the participants with the digitalization of occupational safety and health training in Cambodia.
