Phnom Penh Military Police join forces to protect a truck transporting drugs and packaging materials weighing a total of 4.61 tons to the incineration site.

Phnom Penh: The Phnom Penh Royal Military Police participated in protecting security, safety, maintaining order and removing a truck transporting drugs, chemical compounds, chemicals and packaging materials weighing a total of 4.61 tons from the Phnom Penh Courthouse to the drug burning site in Ta Kok village, Chhwang commune, Ponhea Leu district, Kandal province.

This protective work was carried out to burn all these drugs on the occasion of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and the drug burning ceremony under the high chairmanship of His Excellency Dr. Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.
