Pursat: On Friday afternoon, 2nd Rouch, 2nd month, 2570 B.E., at the Samaki Library Auditorium, Pursat High School, the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of Pursat Province, in collaboration with the provincial administration, organized a ceremony to promote the “Royal Decree on the Statute of Teachers” under the chairmanship of His Excellency Mr. Khoy Rida, Governor of Pursat Provincial Government.
The ceremony was attended by the deputy governors of the province, the governors of the cities and districts, the heads of departments and units around the province, the leaders of departments and offices, as well as the directors, principals, and teachers from educational institutions throughout the province, a total of more than 500 people.
The purpose of this promotion ceremony is to widely disseminate the contents of the Royal Decree on the Statute of the Teachers’ Union to promote understanding, effective implementation, and in line with the Royal Government of Cambodia’s in-depth reform policy on the education sector, aimed at strengthening the quality of education and promoting the teaching profession to be more effective and professional.
