Cambodian Red Cross provides emergency relief supplies to over 1,400 families in Poipet city

Banteay Meanchey: On September 30, 2026, the Cambodian Red Cross immediately intervened by bringing humanitarian aid to 1,412 families affected by floods and storms in Poipet city. The ceremony was led by Mr. You Lana, Second Deputy Secretary General of the Cambodian Red Cross, representing Samdech Kittipritbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen and Mr. Om Raetre, President of the Banteay Meanchey Red Cross Branch, and many other staff members.

On that occasion The Presidency conveyed the deepest condolences and greetings from His Excellency Samdech Kittiprittbandhit, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, who always pays close attention to the well-being of the people, leaving no one to suffer without help.

This emergency relief operation demonstrated the rapid and effective response of the Cambodian Red Cross Society in helping to alleviate the suffering and restore the livelihoods of the 1,412 affected families to a stable state as a first step after experiencing this natural disaster.
