Phnom Penh: On April 29, 2026, Dr. Kao Thach, the Royal Government Delegate in Charge and Director General of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB), and his colleagues visited and inspected the installation of Oknha Sok Rado’s fertilizer factory located in Svay Rieng City, Svay Rieng Province.
The fertilizer factory is called Svay Rieng Fertilizer Co., Ltd., which is planning to produce highly effective and properly formulated hybrid organic fertilizers for supply to farmers and use in the agricultural sector, where farmers are in high demand.
The company’s long-term investment plan is to distribute fertilizer to serve the needs of farmers and distribute it in the province. The company has an initial production capacity of approximately 2,500 tons of fertilizer per year.
The company will expand its production capacity further in the coming years and expects to receive more support from local farmers, which will lead to a reduction in dependence on imported fertilizer.
