Pursat: On the morning of May 5, 2026, at the Pursat Provincial Hall, Mr. Khoy Rida, Governor of the Provincial Government, received a donation of $2,000 (two thousand US dollars only) from Venerable Lay Kan, the abbot of Wat Bakan in Trapeang Chong Commune, Bakan District.

This fund was obtained through the generosity of the donors, the head of the foundation, and the general Buddhist community to contribute to the great merit of building a multi-clinic and emergency room of the Pursat Provincial Referral Hospital.

Please note that the multi-clinic and emergency building of Pursat Provincial Referral Hospital, measuring 54 meters long x 22 meters wide and 5 stories high, was opened on June 11, 2025. This grand project stems from the noble initiative of Mr. Keo Rattanak, Minister of Mines and Energy and Chairman of the Royal Government Working Group to help the local population of Pursat Province, together with Venerable Inthero Khao Sokunthai, Abbot of Hangabeit Temple (also known as Wat Prek Sth), and His Excellency Khoi Rida, Governor of Pursat Provincial Government.

The project is currently undergoing construction, which is taking place in phases, with architectural design adjustments being made to make it more efficient. The provincial administration also hopes that philanthropists will continue to support the solidarity effort to make this historic achievement a reality and provide better health services to the people of Pursat province.
